Kathi Brent-Brakefield has had a diverse background in numbers…from Physics at theUniversity of Waterloo to working in the banking industry, completing the Canadian Securities Course and then moving to the Yukon in 1988. She’s worked in a variety of finance-related fields, from financial planning, to income tax preparation, to insurance (life, health, home & auto) and then with the federal government, where she worked in finance and compensation for several agencies.
She’s also been certified as a Notary Public in and for the Yukon for decades and she’s brought this wealth of information to the shop, training her colleagues to provide the same sort of service to our community.
In 2012, she took on the challenge of operating what was then The UPS Store, which has since morphed into the operation we have today as The Paper Trail.
Kathi’s broad background means that she knows a lot of things about a lot of things…so she’s often able to help people navigating the various processes we will suddenly find ourselves facingin life, and she’s passed along this knowledge to the other Yukon women who share her vision at The Paper Trail.

We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work within the
Traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and
the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, and all Yukon Indigenous Peoples;
we pay our respects to their elders: past, present & future.
